Kodumbalur Temples
Kodumbalur, an ancient village in Pudukkottai district, was the seat of the Irukkuvel chiefs. Its Moovar Koil, Aivar Koil and Muchukundesvara temples preserve some of the most accomplished early Chola-period architecture and sculpture.
